Bonjour!
Hope you are having a fantastic Fall! Time for another “Design Story” and it goes like this.
With 2020 being a little different and a little crazy, it has all forced us to think outside the box, maybe stretch from our comfort zone. So I wanted to design/plan intimate Lux Dinner for 8-12 in the Summer and Fall to see if this is something I’d like to keep going. The perfect guinea pigs; some of my family. My mother and father had the most wonderful River Cruise planned to leave October 1st from Budapest, Hungary to Germany. They were to travel with my godfather and his wife, as well as my godmother and her husband. Obviously with the situation we are in, they had to cancel…. My parents and I wanted to surprise them with an amazing “Danube Waltz” Viking River Cruise themed dinner on the date they were supposed to leave.
INSPIRATION:
As guests arrived at the house, or the “Bouchard Port” we called it, they were asked to sit in the arrival’s lounge.
The amazing team at Good Buds Catering served an amazing CURRENT APPLE CIDER to keep everyone warm. We then made the introduction and invited them inside to “Check In.”
The guests enjoyed an amuse bouche; Pork Schnitzel and then head to the “deck” of the boat to find a surprise on each place setting.
FIRST COURSE: HUNGARY
SECOND COURSE: SLOVAKIA

We finished off the evening with an espresso martini and lots of wine. Enjoy some other shots of this amazing dinner party!
