We were honoured to design a holiday tablescape for the 2018 Table Stories Fundraiser event put on by Ayoko Designs and aDesigned Magazine for Winnipeg Harvest at Blue Moon Furniture… Our story starts like this..”It was a starry night…”
Our colour palette inspiration came from Constellations the Night Before Christmas, focusing on the “colours of dusk” during the holidays… gold for the sparkle of the season, the blue hues of a cold winter evening, and, of course, black for darkness with a pop of stars.
The beautiful majestic Live Edge Dining Table from Blue Moon Furniture was the true star of the show!
We loved pairing gold rimmed glassware and charger plates with a beautiful set of dusty blue dishes (from Ikea) and the blue goblet from C&T Rentals. For the florals we decided to go with some blue orchids with blue spruce, different from the Winter Greens we are so used to! (Florals from House of Silk) With all the black pillar candles and black votives, it naturally gave that night sparkle we are so lucky to see outdoors here in the prairie sky.
