I love Christmas, I love the holidays, and I love the wine (always)! We’ve been doing this event for 4 years now (not this year of course), it’s one of my favorite because I’ve gotten to know the clients so well, and feel like our meetings are just a get-together! I tackled this one with the very talented planner Melissa Meilleur and we had a blast. The client wanted a different event space, something unique, so we decided to go see the MB Hydro building in downtown Winnipeg. Such a lovely space and perfect for that holiday feeling. We decided to split the space in two. The entrance would be a whiteout mountain feeling, with an amazing food station and custom made frosted acrylic signs. After the food stations, the guests made their way to the chalet. We designed a dividing wall with an actual door that you could pop through to the chalet side. With harvest tables, red amber lighting, it gave that warm winter feeling. We had a beautiful dessert station along with a shelf full of board games, the guests could grab dessert and play a game or two. Here is the DESIGN STORY:
