I was brought on this project by the amazing Melissa Meilleur from Letter M. Events. The venue was St. Charles Country Club, the most gorgeous space for that traditional holiday party, not to mention the food is absolutely incredible. Don’t forget to check out the menu at the end of this post.  The approach to the design for the event was a mix of traditional and modern. My inspiration for the look was inspired by a Jo Malone marketing campaign (which I had previously discovered on my trip to London a month earlier). For the traditional part we used rustic accents with a forest green on emerald green color palette provided that modern touch.

For the entrance we added new Christmas trees and draped a beautiful emerald aisle runner from the Original Aisle Company. We flooded the area with fresh greens and candles (sprayed with fake snow) that illuminated the walkway up to the event. 

We wanted to do a beautiful and unique seating chart, so decided to decal these gold and black gift boxes from Creative Bag. 

The ice bar was made by John Wade Ice Sculptures. Melissa found a photo of frozen Christmas greens and thought “how cool it would be if the Christmas Greens were frozen in the bar”. It really made the letters of the client’s logo pop!

Amanda from Simply Perfect Decor brought in a beautiful velvet green linen, it added so much richness to the tablescape.

This holiday party was filled with amazing food stations and cocktail stations, check it out!

Starting with the DeLucca’s Coffee Cart and Deluxe Hot Chocolate Bar.

They had an amazing Oyster Bar, Cookie Bar, MaCallan Scotch and Cheese Station, Schnapps Station and a Cigar Bar. That ought to get you in the holiday spirit(s) (get it lol)

We were so glad to be a part of this event, we can’t wait to get the parties started in 2021!
