Just needed to share one of my favorite cocktail these days…
THE FRENCH MARTINI
Discovered at the Old Bulls Head in Loughborough, UK. It was made by a dear friend of my sister’s while celebrating her 30th birthday. (Check out that trip in this recent post: https://frenchaccentdesign.com/travel-going-for-the-gram/ )
What I love about this cocktail is how easy it is to make, there’s a good balance between the sweet and tart, and it just tastes delicious. Here is the recipe: https://www.food.com/recipe/french-martini-56179
- (2) ounces of VODKA (I chose Ciroc Pineapple)
- (1) ounce PINEAPPLE JUICE
- (1/4) ounce CHAMBORD Raspberry Liquor
- ICE
Mix everything well together in a shaker, strain in your favourite martini glass….
Fun (Google) Fact: This martini was created in SoHo, New York! Why is it called FRENCH martini you ask?? The drink is made with Chambord, a black raspberry liquor made in France and has been produced since 1965.
